Toddlers love fun and exploring as part of their learning so in the Toddler Room we provided a range of fun and exciting experiences to help little growing minds stay active. Sensory activities such as water play, playdough, goop, bubbles are fascinating for busy toddlers. Obstacle courses allow them to climb and jump and explore and paint, crayons and pencils are used to enhance creativity. Our fully qualified Toddler room educators observe, plan and implement a variety of experiences aimed at each child’s developmental needs.
As part of language development for our Toddlers we have adopted the Abecedarian Approach which is a method which is being embedded in the Early Years Learning Framework. This method integrates quality caregiving with opportunities for extending and developing language in our Toddlers. With a Take Home Teddy for the children and their families to take on adventures and a Take Home Book for reading these programs are both innovative and exciting for our little ones.
We have had many families comment on the extent of their children’s language skills since we have adopted this approach.
Mosaic Christian Early Learning Centre is pleased to take part in the Christmas Box Appeal held every year by Samaritans Purse. The children are always eager to fill their boxes with much needed supplies to be given to children in need from around the world. It is a very real way the children learn that it is important to give and not just receive.
We are committed to providing the highest quality, family-oriented Early Learning Centre, by nurturing children in an environment of Christian love and care.
